Digital Drums
User training and monitoring of digital drum aimed at providing access to research and learning material for learners in the poor and hard to reach communities of Uganda with support from UNICEF Uganda.
Health and Sanitation Campaign
This was done in partnership with KCCA, Nakawa City Division in 2010 11 to sensitize slum communities to improve upon community health and sanitation in the slum areas of Kampala.
Personal and Menstrual Hygiene
This is done for both in and out of school girls with Universal Health Development Foundation ( to sensitize them about menstrual hygiene and fight stigma related to their periods to keep in school.
SRH/R Campaigns and Health Camps
This is being done In schools and rural communities with Miss Uganda to create enabling spaces where young people freely engage on SRH/R issues affecting them, and access SRH/R goods and services.
National Youth Cordination Mechanism
YIYA Foundation, in partnership with UNICEF and MGLSD, developed a tool to help strengthen the Ministry's Department of Youth to assume its leadership role in coordinating youth initiatives and other related affairs.
Business Process Outsource (BPO) Training
In partnership with Oxfam Uganda and Collins Consulting International (Kenya for youth in Kampala and Gulu to be able to use ICT to recognize and take on potential incoming generating activities online.
