Soft Skills Training
With the National and Diocesan Chaplains of the Catholic Church and youth in slums ( in Uganda to arm young people with skills (e g communication skills, problem solving skills, leadership skills, Teamwork, emotional Intelligence, adaptability, and professional/work ethics) to prepare them and give them an extra edge in life.
Start ups Incubation
In partnership with Youth Empowerment Society (YES) Uganda for young entrepreneurs from the slums of Kampala through mentoring, technical assistance, intellectual property management, marketing expertise, accounting services, and networking to manage and grow their businesses.
ICT Classes
In Graphics designing photographic and motion pictures production, web designing and development, and application development in partnership with Kampabits and Light for the world, aimed imparting young people with skills for a professional or business career in these areas on completion.
Make 12.4% Work Campaign
For Persons with Disabilities (PWDs) inclusion with Light for the World by training persons with different physical disabilities to gain ICT skills for better professional or business careers and making them more employable or productive in any work environment after completion.
Digital Drums
User training and monitoring of digital drum aimed at providing access to research and learning material for learners in the poor and hard to reach communities of Uganda with support from UNICEF Uganda.
U-Report
Youth Initiatives For Youth Action (YIYA) Foundation in conjunction with UYC promoted U-Report and 116 Sauti as information sharing, early warning, and response tools among different communities in Uganda. Through mass enrolment of more U-Reporters.
